Authority Technical Adviser

Appleyards I&PF Consultancy team can act as technical adviser for the 'Awarding Authority’. We work within the team that develops the business case, translates the overall vision into a programme of investment, and ultimately delivers the facility.

In conjunction with the financial and legal advisers, we prepare any necessary documentation including:

• Output-based Project specifications
• Specialist studies and reports, together with suitable technical analysis
• Development of payment mechanisms
• Cost estimates (construction, lifecycle and facilities management)

During the tender stage, we use our considerable experience within both public & private sectors, to support the Authority and provide detailed comparative analysis and risk-based reports. At the end of each stage, we offer clear, concise and unambiguous recommendations.

During the project delivery stage, we can also provide technical advice and support to enable the Authority to act as the ‘informed client’, helping to identify and resolve issues before they impact on the project, and manage the programme to ensure that the clients representative is kept up to date and is equipped to make effective decisions in good time.
