Formerly head of Ofsted’s Subjects and Quality Assurance Division and HMI, a senior inspector with Nottinghamshire County Council and secondary school senior leader, Frank has extensive experience of school development and support covering primary, secondary and special education. Frank has been a regular visitor to New York to evaluate provision in the city’s schools, has conducted a range of school evaluations across England for Ofsted and trains inspectors for the Church of England. Frank has worked with Appleyards on the Academies programme since 2006, providing project management expertise, education advice and consultation support.
