Britain’s educational system has come under much criticism of late and new ideas and radical changes are proposed to transform children’s education. There will be inevitable implications for children and their families, teachers, schools and civil servants. The Spectator Conference, The Schools Revolution, held on Thursday 4th March, addressed a number of questions about school reform including: how will schools work? what will be their consequences? what will this mean for parents, pupils and school providers? will there be such a thing as an education industry?
