Corporate Responsibility

At Appleyards, corporate responsibility is about carrying out our business in a way that enhances the positive and minimises the negative social, economic and environmental impacts of what we do.

We recognise these potential impacts and the influence we can have through our projects, consider them and manage them in relation to:

• Our People
• Our Marketplace
• Our Environment
• Our Community

We review our corporate responsibility policy, impacts and performance annually, and we revise our targets and objectives so that we can demonstrate continuous improvement.

We produce an annual report on our Corporate Responsibility activities, objectives and targets. The first annual report will be available in Summer 2010, as a download from this website.

Everyone at Appleyards is committed to our policy. To evidence this, our policy is signed by our Chief Executive Officer together with the members of our Employee Consultation Group, EVE.
