Woodpecker Hall Primary Academy (WHPA), a Free School being set up and managed by Cuckoo Hall Academy Trust, will help meet the overwhelming demand for more primary places in Edmonton. The school, for children aged 3-11, replicates the high quality education provided at Cuckoo Hall Academy. Working with the proposers we helped them to submit their Business Case in very short timescales and launch a highly successful recruitment campaign for NQTs for both schools.

Simon Ward, Cuckoo Hall Academy Business Director, commented: "We appreciated the critical comments and suggestions of improvements to the Business case. The team also reacted quickly to our need to recruit NQTs and their recruitment exercise attracted over 150 applications!"

Woodpecker Hall Primary Academy opened in September 2011 with a visit from Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Secretary of State for Education.
