Appleyards were commissioned for the maintenance, refurbishment, adaptation and extension of the University’s Estates and Building property portfolio. As well as providing strategic property advice, Appleyards has been responsible for a number of on-site projects including:

• Design and specification of conversion of terraced properties to offices.
• General campus upgrade works – to improve visitor’s first impressions of the site – involving projects such as replacement fencing, footpath, removing covered walkways etc.
• Modifications to sports hall including new changing rooms, upgrading fitness suite.
• Re-roofing of sports hall.
• Condition/structural surveys of various properties.
• Concrete repairs to Electronics Building.
• Refurbishment and conversion of former medical centre into office accommodation.
• Modification and refurbishment of Kent Business School.
