Appleyards provided a total FM service for the Rural Payments Agency, covering four properties.
 
Appleyards won the contract against stiff competition. The contract was awarded to the Appleyards FM team for a period of five years, extendable for a further 2 years.  

Contracted services include fabric and M&E maintenance, security guarding, cleaning, grounds maintenance, pest control and waste services. Minor works projects are also undertaken, together with decommissioning and relocation works as the estate develops and changes. The contract has been structured to accommodate business driven changes, including moves to more flexible working practices.
 
An innovative KPI system has been developed on the contract to demonstrate ongoing improvement in service delivery together with the achievement of a number of sustainability targets set by Defra, especially with regard to primary energy usage.
