Appleyards’ is delivering Managing Agent Services to the CNC UK Headquarters building based at Culham Science Laboratory in Oxfordshire. CNC provide protection for nuclear material both on Civil Nuclear Licensed sites and whilst in transit.

The first stage of the commission involved liaison with the landlord of the building to ensure that all common areas that may be accessed by CNC staff are being maintained to the letter of the law and to the standard that Appleyards expect.  Appleyards were successful in obtaining records that had previously been kept confidential from the CNC. Alongside negotiating proposals for risk assessments and DDA Access Audits on a national basis, Appleyards are also developing a long term plan to assist CNC to plan and manage their estate over the next 5-10 years.
